SATYA DOYLE BYOCK


Satya Doyle Byock is a practicing psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in Portland, Oregon, and the director of The Salome Institute of Jungian Studies, where she leads a year-round program in Jungian psychology and Myth.

She is also the author of Quarterlife: The Search for Self in Early Adulthood, available through Random House (US) and Penguin Press (UK), and in French, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese translations.

Satya’s work has been featured on NPR’s LifeKit, Morning Edition & Weekend Edition, The New York Times, The Guardian, Oprah Daily, Literary Hub, and many podcasts, including 10% Happier, History This Week, Apple News in Conversation, Goop, Pulling the Thread, BBC Woman’s Hour, and The Joseph Campbell Foundation Podcast.
