We’re always looking for books that you don’t want to put down. This is one of those books. It gets in the way of normal plans. You’ll want to take a day off of work and stay curled-up with this book. I am in awe of Whitaker’s capacity to render these characters, Mel and “Kisses”, and oh so grateful that she did.
